Valgfritt fordypningskurs (6 sp)
Kurset omhandler interaksjonen mellom ny teknologi og avansert formgiving. Kjente formgivere og teknologer som jobber med avansert produksjonsverktøy vil delta i forskjellige workshops. Sluttresultatet skal være fysiske produkter.
Etter endt kurs skal studentene ha innsikt i nye teknologiske trender, som bl.a. danner basis for avanserte formgiving. Kurset skal legge grunnlaget for dette paradigmeskiftet innenfor produksjonsteknologi som fører til helt nye formgivingsmuligheter.
Kurset bygges opp av workshops og forelesninger med interne lærere og inviterte profilerte formgivere/teknologer. Research vil foregå både individuelt og i grupper. Kurset skal ende opp i et fysisk produkt.
- Det vil være 4 obligatoriske innleveringer i løpet av semesteret
- De to hovedworkshopene har krav om minst 80% tilstedeværelse
- Det vil være to eksterne sensorer som vurderer det innleverte arbeidet
Semesteret har 80% generell oppmøteplikt og 90% tilstedeværelse på forelesninger, gjennomganger og workshops.
