STUDY PLAN SPRING AND AUTUMN 2006

Welcome to AHOs new web based Study plan. Here you will find up-to-date course descriptions relating to all courses held at AHO in the spring semester 2006. You will also find descriptions of the courses planned for autumn 2006, and get a general overview of the study programmes offered at AHO.

Along with the introduction of this study plan, new routines for course registration apply.

COURSE AND SEMESTER REGISTRATION SPRING 2006

As a number of the courses given have a relatively restricted number of places, students need to registrate onto courses before the semester starts. Your registration is seen as an application to a course. When overbooked, students that have studied the longest will be given priority, unless other priorities are named in the Study plan.

Registration is handled by Academic services, and the deadline for registrating onto courses is the 9th of December.

All students must register onto one Studio course (24 ECTS), and one Intensive course (6 ECTS). For Studio courses, some restrictions might apply depending on which master's programme you are on, but for Intensive courses, all students can choose from courses given by all institutes.

Students who have a Norwegian personal number (not B-number) are themselves responsible for registrating onto courses. This is done through StudentWeb , where you sign in by the help of your personal number and your PIN-code. If you have forgotten your PIN-code, you can ask to have this sent you by e-mail.

Exchange students and other students lacking a Norwegian 11-digit personal number must contact Academic services for registration. It is wise to consider some alternative courses, in case your first choice course has been filled up.

We will send an e-mail when the course registration process is completed, as well as announce at www.aho.no .

In addition to register for courses, all students must complete their semester registration by the 15th of January . This includes paying the student fee, as well as register for exams. Students with a personal number can do this in StudentWeb, where you will also fint all the information needed to pay the fee by your web based bank.

Visiting and exchange students only pay the paper fee, and must come to Academic services to pick up their giro. We will also register you for exams.

If you have questions regarding this, come see us at Academic services, call 22 99 70 27 or send an e-mail to studieinfo@aho.no
