The course is mandatory for all 10th semester architecture students, 9th semester industrial design students and 3rd semester landscape architecture students.

Course description

The diploma programming course is mandatory for all students of architecture, industrial design and landscape architecture in their last semester before starting their diploma project at AHO. Students must have received the mark "Pass" in order to start on their diploma. Exchange students and visiting students are not eligible for the diploma programming course.
Learning outcomes

The students will learn how to program a thesis, develop its main questions and a way to approach their solution. In addition, students must develop a schedule for their diploma work.

Exams and assessment methods

The course is assessed as pass/fail, subject to the Regulations for Master's degree programmes at Oslo School of Architecture and Design, § 6-14.

In order to proceed to their diploma work, students must pass the course.
