GK5 Foundation level course Architecfture project, Twin city (24 credits)
A series lectures following the history of urbanism and urban design from the first urban settelemts until today. Urban ideas from the industrial period until today are emphasized. The course has an architectural angle emphasizing the morphology of the city and the correlation between morphology and community
By passed course the student should have gained a basic knowledge of utban history, the history of urban planning and the history og urban design. Students should be able to use this knowledge in their urban design projects.
A weekly series of lectures
Written exam week 2 - 2011.
The course is assessed subject to an A-F grade scale. E is the poorest pass mark, as stated in the Regulations for Master's degree programmes at Oslo School of Architecture and Design, § 6-14
